Η Δέσποινα Πιτίδου γεννήθηκε στον Πειραιά και κατοικεί στην Νίκαια. Έχει σπουδάσει νομικά και έχει παρακολουθήσει επιτυχώς μαζικά ανοικτά διαδικτυακά μαθήματα, κυρίως ηθικής, φιλοσοφίας και ιστορίας. Έχει εκδώσει την ποιητική συλλογή “Οκτώ και ένα” από τις εκδόσεις Οδός Πανός (2021), αποσπάσματα τής οποίας δόθηκαν ως εργασία στους προπτυχιακούς και μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές τού Τμήματος Τεχνών Ήχου και Εικόνας τού Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου. Ποιήματα της έχουν δημοσιευτεί στο “Διάστιχο”.
Despina Pitidou was born in Piraeus and she lives in Nikaia. She have studied law and she have attended successfully massive open online courses of, mostly moral, philosophy and history. Her book of poems titled “Eight and one” has been published in the publishing house “Odos Panos” (2021). Excerpts of this book have been given as work to the undergraduates and postgraduates of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University. Some of her poems have been published in the cultural site “Diastixo”.
