Fernando Pensa (Castrignano de ‘Greci – Italy) began to paint spontaneously and instinctively from an early age in search of his own expressive form with essential chromatic tones.
In the seventies he approached poetry composing his first verses.
From 1976 he was working during 26 years as a teacher of Art and Image in the province of Sondrio.
More than a hundred works, made with various techniques and dating back to this period, were presented in an exhibition in Morbegno (SO) organized in collaboration with local intellectuals and enjoyed considerable success with public and critics.
In 2002 he returned to live in Castrignano de’ Greci and continued his artistic and poetic research appreciated by the artistic and literary circles of Salento.
