Petra Kolmančič (Slovenia) was born in 1974. She is a poet, editor and producer. She graduated in philosophy and sociology of culture at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. She has published her poems in various literary magazines in Slovenia and abroad. Her work has been translated into German, English, Hungarian, Greek, Czech (poetry book Layer by layer), Croatian, Macedonian and Bosnian. She won Veronika Poetry Prize, in 2014, for the best poetry collection Slovene of the year for the book Layer by Layer (Pivec, 2014) and Glazer Prize for her poetry collection 3rd Person of Dual (Pivec, 2017). To create new poetic forms and experiences she often combine her poetrywith music, videos, images, animations and computer arts.
