Alexandre Mexis is a poet, author, playwright, scriptwriter, film director, visual artist, English teacher and lecturer born in 1971 in Saint-Etienne, France. Through his poems, short-stories, short-films, plays as well as his drawings, he mixes with sensibility the daily life and the stakes of today’s society with the mythological and the divine while paying special attention to the sounds of words and the associations of colours. He is a member of the Pen Club International, an association of writers from all over the world, which, among others, defends freedom of expression.
