Ο Δημήτρης Βασιλάκης (21/10/1961) είναι ένας διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένος Έλληνας σαξοφωνίστας, συνθέτης, ποιητής και ακαδημαϊκός ερευνητής με βραβευμένες ηχογραφήσεις για την ιστορική εταιρεία της τζαζ Candid Records.

LRAM, Royal Academy of Music London, advanced postgraduate studies in jazz, saxophone, piano, composition and orchestra direction, awarded diploma of “Jazz Teacher,” 1991. Under British Council Fellowship scholarship. (1990-1991)

Graduate Diploma with honors – BMus equivalent; 1990. Majors: saxophone, piano, composition, conducting. (1987-1990). Recipient of the Onassis Foundation scholarship. LCM society award for performing, arranging and directing Claude Debussy’ s “Rhapsodie” for alto saxophone and symphony orchestra.
