Tonia Tzirita – Zaharatou was born in Heraklion, 1993 and studied law and comparative literature. She is a candidate for a doctorate in philology, while she deals with translation and animating literary workshops and activities. Her first poetry collection, Second Youth (published by Thrace), won the Reader’s Newcomer Award in Poetry and the “Jean Moréas” Newcomer Poet Award. He lives and writes in Athens.
