Πού να βρίσκεσαι άραγε;
“Στο Λουτράκι” όπως μου είπαν;
Να πιστέψω τα λόγια τους;
Έκοψες κοντά τα μαλλιά σου;
Zεις σε μονοκατοικία;
Σε σπίτι που έχει ολόγυρα πεύκα και κυπαρίσσια;
Σε διαμέρισμα με βεράντα και πολλά λουλούδια;
Σε κλείνουν τοίχοι ψηλοί και κάγκελα;
Τα πρωινά βάζεις το τζην που ξέρω;
Βρίσκεις ερημικές αμμουδιές;
Koλυμπάς -ακόμη- χωρίς μαγιό;
Πόσο ελεύθερη είσαι;
Φοράς το μαύρο σου φόρεμα;
Βγαίνεις τα βράδια;
Διαλέγεις ήσυχα μαγαζάκια;
Ακούς “Τα παλιά τραγούδια με τους μελλοντικούς ήχους”;
Έχεις παιδιά;
Είναι ξανθά όπως τα ήθελες;
Xαϊδεύεις το κεφαλάκι τους;
Τα μαθαίνεις να τραγουδάνε;
Το δωμάτιό σου βλέπει θάλασσα ή βουνό;
Σε θέλγει ο Κορινθιακός;
Σε εκστασιάζουν τα Γεράνεια Όρη;
Εξακολουθείς να διαβάζεις ποιήματα;
Τις νύχτες -εκεί- έχει δροσιά;
Σκεπάζεσαι με το λινό σεντόνι;
Αφήνεις το παράθυρο ανοιχτό;
Έχεις … παράθυρα;

I wonder where are you?
“In Loutraki” as they told me?
Should I believe their words?
Have you cut your hair short?
Do you live in a detached house?
In a house surrounded by pines and cypresses?
In an apartment with a terrace, full of flowers?
Are you confined by tall walls and bars?
Do you wear those familiar jeans every morning?
Do you find isolated sandy beaches?
Do you –still– swim without a bathing suit?
How free are you?
Do you wear your black dress?
Do you go out at night?
Do you choose quiet little places?
Do you listen to “The old songs with the future sounds”?
Do you have any children?
Are they blonde as you wished them to be?
Do you caress their little heads?
Do you teach them how to sing?
Does your room have a mountain or a sea view?
Are you charmed by the Corinthian Gulf?
Do the Geraneia Mountains make you ecstatic?
Do you keep reading poems?
Is it cool –there– at night?
Do you cover yourself with the linen sheet?
Do you leave the window open?
Do you have any… windows at all?
